Finding out that your partner cheated on you is never easy. Finding out he cheated on you because you were unexpectedly invited to the baby shower of his mistress is something out of a primetime drama. But, according to a woman on TikTok, Lorelia, that’s exactly what happened to her and it’s how she found out her husband was having a straight up affair.
She explains in her first of several explanation videos that she was randomly and anonymously sent a baby shower invite. She didn’t know who the woman on the invite was, so she searched up photos of the couple and found her husband in the photos. That’s when it clicked for her and she realized her husband cheated on her, got another woman pregnant, and was apparently living a double life of sorts. But it goes even deeper than that where Lorelia’s in-laws are concerned.

The wife revealed who invited her to the shower.
The first red flag for Lorelia, as she explains in her video, is the address on the baby shower invite. It was her in-laws’ home address. After she discovered the maternity photos of this woman and her husband, it all clicked for her. She also assumed that the mother-in-law sent the invite because, Lorelia admits in the TikTok, the family was aware that she wasn’t wild about her husband’s mom.
“Then I’m sitting there thinking, ‘you’re telling me his family knows?’ Like they know like I knew my mother-in-law wasn’t the craziest about me, but that’s cold,” she says. “You’re gonna host the shower? Mind you, she’s always wanted a grandchild. So I’m sitting there thinking like, ‘wow, everyone’s really just, like, left me out of this. What?’ I wanted to call my husband up in that moment, cuss him out, like really give him a piece of my mind. But honestly, what was the point? The snake bit me.”
Instead of getting angry and blowing up on her husband, Lorelia says in her video that she made plans to actually attend the shower. She found out her sister-in-law sent her the invite as a way to make sure she knew about it, but Lorelia also says that she found out her husband’s family was told she knew about the baby and had agreed to be part of the baby’s life.
I’m telling you, Yellowstone can’t even write the plot twists this good.
“You should have seen the look on this man’s face when he saw a little old me sitting at the punch bowl,” she says, of showing up at the shower as a guest. “He knew he was losing the house in that divorce at that point. You can’t fake infidelity when there’s literally DNA on the way, baby.”
In a follow-up video, Lorelia explains that she did file for divorce and she got the house, the boat, and the Porsche she had during their marriage. Clearly, Lorelia made out in the end, even if finding out about her husband’s infidelity in this way was the plot twist she could have never seen coming.
