A little girl's shocking discovery has TikTok cracking up this week. The Florida toddler, who goes by Jade, apparently burst into her family's living room to inform her dad of an ongoing emergency: Her mom was in the bathroom, "bleeding out of her butt."
What ensued was an adorable back and forth that is now going viral.

The video was shared earlier this week by Jade's parents (@D&ZFamily)
And, needless to say, the little girl's mom wasn't bleeding out of her butt.
Instead, it seems the toddler had walked in on her mom in the bathroom while she was on her period and became alarmed by the amount of blood she saw.
"Mommy's bleeding," Jade tells her dad at the start of the clip. "Yeah, in her butt."
"For real? Is it bad? Is she OK?" her dad asks while trying not to laugh.

As Jade continues to stick to her story, her dad starts asking more questions
"Where'd you see that at?" he asks before his daughter replies, "In the restroom."
But before he can get any more details out of the adorable toddler, she tells him she's heading back to the bathroom to "go check it out."
And so, little Jade marches back to the restroom
But right before she enters, her dad calls out to her with one more question: "Do you know what that's called?"
"Yeah," she tells him confidently.
"Yeah? What's it called?" her dad asks.
"BLEED," Jade tells him before checking in to see how her mom's doing.
The TikTok has only been up for a few days, but already has 2.3 million views
And judging by the comments, people find the whole thing to be hilariously adorable.
"Jade is all up in the business!!!" one commenter wrote.
"It’s called 'you ain’t got a sibling on the way,'" quipped another.

Some moms also shared what happened when their own kids discovered they were bleeding.
"My daughter asked me if I needed a Band-Aid because I was hurt," one mom wrote.
"My kid told everyone I wear diaper," added someone else.
At the same time, the TikTok sparked another common parenting discussion ...
The fact that once you have kids, you'll never go to the bathroom alone.
Like, ever again.

Others laughed about the many ways that kids are nosey, and how they often love to spill personal details about their families to anyone who will listen.

Ultimately, though, people felt the whole thing was worthwhile
After all, even if it didn't exactly lead to the puberty talk (which is normal, because she's only 3!), the experience of seeing her mom on her period likely left an impression on little Jade. And according to many TikTokers, that's a good thing.
"She’s too cute," one person wrote. "Best to teach them early."
"She needs to know because one day it will be her," added someone else. "I didn't know anything until it happened and was given no information to prepare."
