A woman on TikTok said her husband, who was feeling quite frustrated that night, accused her of doing nothing around the house. And to teach him a lesson rather than engage in an argument, she went on strike.

Lindsay Donnelly told Today.com that she was in the middle of getting the kids ready for bed when she thought to go on strike right before taking a girls' trip. Standing her ground, she left the dishes on the dining room table, laundry piled up on the couch, dishes in the sink, and toys scattered around the house.
In a TikTok video showing the results of her protest, Lindsay played the song "Karma" over the clip.
According to Today.com, the mom of two and her husband both work full-time jobs and often split the household duties. She mentioned, however, that her husband Brian does most of the cooking.
“The night he made the comment, I was getting the kids ready for bed, and he was cleaning up in the kitchen,” Lindsay said. “I noticed he was kind of grumpy and I was like, ‘What’s going on?’ And that’s when he made the comment about me doing nothing around the house.”
She also mentioned that she's constantly "picking up shoes" and tidying up. But just as most moms, most of her work went unnoticed.
Apparently the two have moved on and are both in great spirits, as seen in an update video posted to TikTok. In the newest video, Lindsay laughs while recalling the incident as Brian appears remorseful.

Lindsay mentioned that Brian has apologized to her, but that didn't stop people from flocking to view the original video, with thousands of people commenting and sharing the clip, and people telling her to "leave him."
"I love this," someone commented on the original video.
"I'd get divorce papers honestly. that's unacceptable that he can't pick up as well," someone else said.
"Forget a girls trip I'd sign the divorce papers right then & there," someone else mentioned.
Thankfully, it looks like the couple won't be getting a divorce and have been able to work it out and move on.
