There are a few universal truths in life. We all implicitly understand that we shouldn't lie, cheat or steal, but we may be missing the clear warning signs of what behaviors to avoid based on someone's astrological profile. Find out what you should NEVER do in the presence of each member of the zodiac, unless you're trying to declare war.

Aries
March 21 – April 19
Don't talk badly about them or those they love.
Aries is notoriously protective of the people they care about (and their own ego). If this headstrong ram allows you into their inner circle and you betray their trust by badmouthing them or their friends and family, they will not hesitate to show their horns. Once you stab an Aries in the back, it's almost impossible to win them over again.
Taurus
April 20 – May 20
Don't creep up from behind to scare them.
Unless you want a swift kick in the junk, just don't do it. Taurus tends to be tightly wound and gets lost in their own thoughts, which makes them easily startled. While it may seem like fun and games, this tough bull has a fast reaction to fear and it doesn't involve crouching in the corner. This badass sign will respond to any threat, whether real or imagined, with stealthy (painful) ninja moves.

Gemini
May 21 – June 20
Don't exclude them from the group.
Gemini thrives on social interaction, and being left out is the stuff of their nightmares. Even if this chatty twin sign is working your last nerve with their constant need to talk about themselves, don't make the mistake of turning your back and icing them out. They will feel bitterly hurt and are likely to hurl insults or tell your secrets to others as retribution.

Cancer
June 21 – July 22
Don't criticize them.
Cancer may appear to have a tough shell, but inside they are sensitive and easily hurt. If you comment on their flaws, especially in anger, they're likely to put their wall up and consider you a threat to their well-being. Once you point out their mistakes, you're likely to lose any real closeness you may have had with them. If they're doing something that truly bothers you, try to begin the conversation with what you like about them before mentioning what needs work.

Leo
July 23 – August 22
Don't boss them around.
Leo IS the leader of the pack, and they know it. This alpha sign will not respond well to anyone wagging their finger in their face, trying to force them to do something. If you start barking orders at a Leo, expect to be met with eye rolls followed by outright rebellion. The best way to get a Leo to do what you need is to ask and offer them a chance to give their own input. As long as you know their participation is at-will, they're less likely to snap back.

Virgo
August 23 – September 22
Don't call them out on their BS.
Virgo is the most likely in the zodiac to fib about themselves due to their inherent low self-esteem. This sensitive sign needs unconditional support, even when everyone in the room knows they're full of it. If you make the mistake of poking holes in their stories, they're likely to respond with anger. While this sign isn't inherently mean, their vindictive side is well-developed and should be avoided at all costs.

Libra
September 23 – October 22
Don't be unfaithful.
Whether you're in a relationship with a Libra or just friends, any perceived infidelity is a total and complete deal-breaker to this sign of justice. Even if it's a best friend hinting at cheating on their spouse, Libra will cut all ties due to their near-invincible moral compass. This sign believes a great deal in honesty, especially in relationships, and will distance themselves from anyone who prioritizes lust over commitment.

Scorpio
October 23 – November 22
Don't mock them.
Making fun of a Scorpio is like throwing up rival gang signs in the wrong neighborhood—you're just asking for it. This sign may avoid disputes and prefer to keep the peace, but it doesn't mean they're a doormat. Don't confuse their kindness for acceptance of teasing. Once you ridicule them, even as a joke, all bets are off and this stinging sign will come at you with a vengeance. They'll also never trust you again, so be prepared to kiss that relationship goodbye.

November 23 – December 21
Don't make them wait on you.
There's something about being on other people's time that really pisses off a Sagittarius. This sign is usually so easygoing, you might think nothing gets under their skin—until you show up late. You've basically told this archer sign that the only time you care about is your own, and to them, that's an out and out admittance of total disrespect. Once you're tardy (or even worse: a no-show), they will be hard-pressed to ever spend time with you again.

Capricorn
December 22 – January 19
Don't touch their stuff.
Capricorn has a system and order for EVERYTHING. They are intense about their things, and nothing will trigger their anger faster than inviting yourself to touch their belongings without permission. Even with permission, this goat sign is hesitant to let anyone put their dirty paws on what they own. If you think you'll do Capricorn a favor and organize their stuff for them, you're sorely mistaken and guaranteed to make them hate you.

Aquarius
January 20 – February 18
Don't belittle their relationships with their pets.
YOU may think it's silly to push a dog around in a stroller or buy outfits for a cat, but to Aquarius, these are expressions of their deep love for their pets. To an Aquarius, the connection between them and animals is as real as a mother-child relationship to others, and insinuating anything less is likely to earn you a ticket out the door with a threat to never return.

Pisces
February 19 – March 20
Don't deny their affection.
Pisces is emotional and expressive, and loves nothing more than to hug, kiss and hold hands with the ones they love. If you care at all for your Pisces, don't pull away when they lean in to smooch or embrace you. Your resistance will come across as a serious shift in the balance of the relationship—mainly, that you don't care about them anymore. Without even asking for an explanation, this fish sign is likely to have a broken heart and avoid further interaction with you.
