New podcasts are popping up each month, and while we love our regular shows, it doesn’t hurt to add a new one to our rotation. These shows are brand-new and were released this year, and are suited for parents in various stages of motherhood.
Good Inside with Dr. Becky

Dr. Becky Kennedy is an Instagram favorite and we’re so excited that she finally released her podcast. Dr. Becky is a clinical psychologist and mom of three who was named by TIME Magazine as “The Millennial Parenting Whisperer”. On her podcast, she shares her thoughtful answers to real parents' questions to help translate what kids need into actionable strategies for parents to use everyday.
ICYMI

Slate’s new podcast, ICYMI, is for those moms who are too busy to stay current on the latest hot topics. Perfect to listen to while cleaning or cooking, and you get to really be the cool mom who knows all about the latest with who broke the internet and what celebrity said the wrong thing each week. Madison Malone Kircher and Rachelle Hampton are two Slate writers who stay on social media so you don’t have to.
Momtourage

Hosts Ashley and Keri are like your mom BFFs, but snarkier and more honest. These two "accidental" best friends, dish on all the mom/woman/life things someone else might be too shy to talk about — from postpartum sex to mom fails and everything in between. It's a great listen for when you just need to escape for a little while from making yet another meal no one else will eat.
We Can Do Hard Things

If you loved Untamed by Glennon Doyle you will love the accompanying podcast, We Can Do Hard Things. Glennon and her sister, Amanda, promise to drop the fake talk and talk honestly about the hard parts of life. These two sisters want to rally around us all as we do hard things and feel less alone — something all moms need.
Be Antiracist

Dr. Ibram X. Kendi rose to our attention with his book, How to Be an Antiracist, which sparked conversation around what it truly means to reject the racist systems that are behind racial inequity and injustice. In his podcast, he guides listeners on how they can identify those systems in our everyday lives. After the social unrest of 2020, those wanting to continue learning about the necessary work to make our worlds better should take a listen.
The Just Enough Family

Host Ariel Levy of The New Yorker and her friend, successful fashion designer Liz Lange, talk on this podcast about the rise and fall of the Steinbergs, one of America’s richest families. Liz is the niece of Saul Steinberg, an infamous corporate tycoon, and is able to tell the inside story of how betrayal, major partying, and loss affected this family. If you think your family is going through a lot, this show might put it into perspective.
