The married duo and parents behind the popular blog 'Young House Love' are divulging their decorating secrets that made their blog so popular in their new book, 'Loveable Livable Home.' One of our favorite projects? These adorable DIY toy boxes that can made in a less than an hour.
"Storage boxes are great additions for containing small clutter and supplies on desktops or bookshelves. Try dressing up a basic wooden craft box with an extra—or thrifted!—toy, like a matchbox car, animal figurine, or action figure. Some heavy-duty glue and a unifying coat of spray paint will do the trick (we used army green for these army men).
Steal this idea for your grown-up spaces too by swapping out playthings for pretty things, like a decorative stone or a sparkly cabinet knob (and feel free to skip the spray paint)."
