Clothing Stains
Step 1
Let the item dry thoroughly to enable brushing off the excess dirt.
Step 2
Use a stiff brush to vigorously brush the dried mud off of your clothing or uniform.
Step 3
Spray the soiled area with stain remover.
Step 4
Fold the garment in on itself and rub the stain remover into the garment.
Step 5
Place the garment in the washer, if it is machine washable. Add detergent as usual, and then repeat as necessary until the stain is removed.
Upholstery Stains
Step 1
Let the item dry thoroughly to enable brushing off the excess dirt.
Step 2
Use a stiff brush to vigorously brush the dried mud off of your clothing, uniform or chair.
Step 3
Mix a tablespoon of liquid detergent — the kind you use to wash by hand — with two cups of cold water.
Step 4
Blot the item with a soft, dry cloth dipped in the detergent liquid to lift out the stain as much as possible.
Step 5
Sponge the item gently to remove the liquid once the stain disappears.
