July was National Hot Dog Month in the United States, but hot dogs are popular around the world and the toppings are just as diverse as the countries and cultures themselves. The "shuco" of Guatemala often has an avocado sauce called guacamol, cooked cabbage, mayonnaise, tomato sauce, mustard, hot sauce and a staggering combination of meats.
