A high school in Southern California is testing 1,800 students and staff for tuberculosis today after 45 students tested positive for "possible exposure," according to CNN.
Representatives from the Riverside County Department of Public Health have said that there is one active case of TB but that they don't think an outbreak will happen.
"[T]he risk of transmission appears to be moderately low," reads a letter on the Indio High School website, where the possible exposure happened.
After today's test, students and staff will have to return on Monday, Dec. 23, to have their results evaluated.
