You can quickly cut out and fold black paper bats and attach them to gift bags or to your walls if you like in three easy steps. Follow the GIF above or the how-to below. Happy crafting!
Materials:
- Black construction paper
- Scissors
- Ruler
- Pencil
- Paper clips and tape
- Brown craft bags
Directions:
- Following our printable guide below (enlarge based on your preferences), trace pattern onto black paper and cut out.
- With the ruler, draw straight lines from the top of the wing tips to the bottom (these are your folding guidelines).
- Using a boning knife or the ruler, fold along the lines you just drew, creating the 'flapping' bat wings. Please note: bat wings will not flap on their own.
- Attach a paperclip, to the side of the bat with the pencil lines, with tape.
- Paperclip bat to gift bags or use double-sided tape and attach to walls, object and the like.
