Epic Mini Street Style at NY Kids Fashion Week

The fall edition of New York Kids Fashion Week hosted by Petite Parade went down in small but epic proportions. This premier fashion event for the pre- and grade-school set showcased children's fashion designers and their runway collections to press, buyers and social media influencers.

And just like the adult New York Fashion Week shows, the real style is on the streets. These industry fashion kids did not disappoint.

There are no age restrictions in fashion. The underage tastemakers walked around near Bathhouse Studios in the East Village, showing off furry vests, throwback Doc Martins and attitudes befitting a Next Top Model. Pint-size fashionistas (and fashionistos) struck a pose outside the show venue for crowds of paparazzi (and mamarazzi). Kiddos sported uber-stylish looks that you’ll want to recreate right now or pin for later. Some of the very youngest wore designer dresses that we grown-ups could only dream of adding to our closets.

Even baby fashionistas barely walking struck a pose. Clearly, there are no age restrictions when it comes to fashion.

Judging from these mini style icons, this winter’s must-haves are faux fur for the girls and bow ties for the boys.

And hair! Even bigger than these kids’ personalities was their bigger hair. Natural curly cuties turned heads and elicited smiles throughout all of Kids Fashion Week.

These mini style icons took over Instagram, and you’ll see why.
