Pregnancy changed my skin so much. Some of my friends warned me about this, but I didn't believe it. My baby was born and I started seeing breakouts on my face and back. I also discovered that my skin was drier than usual. When I found out I was pregnant I started looking for natural solutions to take care of these kind of problems, I was worried about applying chemicals that would affect my baby while he was in my belly and after was he born, since I'm still breastfeeding him.
One of my favorite body scrub recipes is a delicious mix of ground cinnamon, coconut oil, brown sugar and coffee grounds. Just imagine how delicious this natural beauty treatment smells, it's so good!

My abuelita used to say that cinnamon has antibacterial properties, which helps clear out clogged pores. I discovered the benefits of coconut oil after I started breastfeeding. A friend recommended it to heal cracked nipples and it was like heaven. Coconut, similar to cinnamon, also has antimicrobial properties and is an excellent natural antioxidant that can improve the texture of your skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines. Coffee grounds are a natural exfoliant. I added them to the recipe because I just love the smell. It's like applying a rico cafecito con canela on your skin!
