This dad pretty much trumped all parental attempts at making the most epic birthday cake. For his son's Transformers-themed sixth birthday party Russell Munro debuted his awesome confection creation that not only looks like Optimus Prime, but also talks and transforms from a car into a robot with a push of a button.
When his son asked for a Transformers cake, Munro's design juices got flowing. Using a 3-D printer to create the base for the cake, Munro made an animated platform where it can rotate and move while being disguised by the cake itself, which can be seen in the video.
A project that started with a few sketches in January, Munro started designing in March. The result? An awesome creation that his son will remember forever. If you want to create your own Transformers cake, Munro has provided more details on his blog.
