When I first discovered the smoothie bowl trend, I thought it was a very strange concept. Why would anyone want to have a smoothie with a spoon? You may be thinking the same, but if you are, that means you've never experimented with this healthy breakfast. Once you try them, you may quickly change your mind the way I did.
For one, smoothie bowls are fun. You can decorate them and make them look like the most scrumptious, festive dessert. And we all know that the pleasure of eating starts with the eyes. So having a beautiful, colorful breakfast will make the experience more enjoyable.
If this wasn't reason enough to make a smoothie bowl every once in a while (or quite often), there's also the fact that you can make them as thick as you want, and add as many nutritious ingredients as you can think of, turning it into a real power breakfast.
This nutrient-rich power breakfast will keep you (and the kids) going all day long!
