3 Ways To Keep The House Smelling Fresh And Clean

Over the past few months, we’ve all been spending more time at home than ever before — and for many of us that means our houses have gotten messy. With kids at home full time, parents working from home, and all activities happening inside the house, things are starting to smell a little funky. Even if you stay on top of the dishes, laundry, and normal chores, your house probably doesn’t smell as fresh as you might want. Don’t worry, you’re not alone! Here are some of our best tips for freshening up your home!

1. Air out your blankets.

While many of us throw our sheets and pillowcases into the laundry pretty regularly, we typically don’t wash our blankets as often (especially if we’re using bulky comforters). Keep your bedroom smelling fresh by airing out your blankets for a few hours — hang them outside if you can, or just toss them over the staircase railing or shower curtain rod.

2. Wash your workout gear.

One of the worst culprits of odors in the home is smelly workout clothes — especially if you just throw them in the hamper and forget about them. Freshen up your clothes easily with your container of OxiClean™ Odor Blasters — just follow the directions on the package and your clothes will be clean and sweat-stain-free in no time!

3. Open the windows.

Now that we’re heading into the colder months, most of us are trying to keep our homes warm and cozy. Even in the cold months, though, it’s worth cracking a window every so often to let some fresh air in. Just a few moments of fresh air can do wonders for keeping your house smelling fresh!
