When it comes to Valentine's Day treats, recipes of the more complicated and labor-intensive variety come to mind: Soufflés. Chocolate mousse. Petit fours and hand-dipped truffles.
But not everyone is an experienced and confident pastry chef. That doesn't mean that a homemade treat for your loved ones is out of reach!
Nonpareils—little discs of chocolate covered in sprinkles—could not be easier to make.
Simply pipe out circles using melted chocolate and cover with sprinkles. Pop in the fridge to set and package them up in a festive box or bag.
Or put them out after dinner for everyone to enjoy!
These candies are traditionally made with dark, milk or white chocolate, and covered in round white sprinkles—but this is Valentine's Day!
Use an assortment of holiday-themed melting chocolates, and sprinkles to mix and match. The sky's the limit!
Everyone loves to get a sweet treat for the holiday. This is even better because it's (easily!) made by you.
