Margaritas
The fruit and tequila in a margarita make it a perfect way to end a summer day or serve for a patio party. Many types of margaritas are available, and there various ways to make them. It all depends on what you're in the mood for. The most common type is strawberry, which usually includes tequila, Triple Sec, strawberry liqueur and both lemon and lime juices. You can also make banana, raspberry and watermelon. If you're feeling more adventurous, go for a sage and pineapple, agave or mango.
Tequila Sunrise
It's not just the title of a movie. A tequila sunrise blends tequila, orange juice and the sweetness of grenadine. The drink is so named because the grenadine appears at the bottom of the glass, with the orange juice on top, giving it the appearance of a sunrise.
Salty Chihuahua
If you are not in the mood for a really sweet drink, the salty chihuahua might be more to your liking. It carries a little bit of sweetness, but it's not overpowering. In fact, it is more tart. The salty chihuahua consists of tequila, grapefruit juice, orange liqueur and salt on the rim of the glass.
