Easy Speed Cleaning Tips

All-Purpose Cleaning

An all-purpose household cleaning spray allows you to quickly clean counter tops, glass surfaces, sinks, bathtubs and similar surfaces without requiring you to change your cleaning routine. Pour 2 cups of water, 1/2 cup of white vinegar and a few drops of dish soap into a spray bottle. Spray this disinfectant over all of your household surfaces and wipe off with a dry cleaning rag.

Floor Cleaning

Sprinkle a light coat of baking soda over all carpeting to deodorize and absorb moisture, and let it sit until you finish the rest of the floors. For hard floors, mix 1 gallon of water with 1 cup of white vinegar in a bucket, and mop all of your hard floor surfaces. After cleaning the rest of the floors, come back and vacuum the carpets and rugs to collect the baking soda and dirt.

Toilet Cleaning

Sprinkle 1 cup of baking soda and 1 cup of white vinegar into the toilet to deodorize and break up stains, and scrub the toilet with your bowl brush. Let the cleaning ingredients sit in the bowl for about one hour for heavier buildup, then scrub with the toilet brush. Flush the toilet after cleaning.
