Fans now have yet another reason to love former teen heartthrob Zac Efron. The High School Musical star recently took to Instagram to share the most adorable photo of himself and his little sister, Olivia. The 35-year-old celeb gave the tot a birthday shout-out on Tuesday, posting a pair of photos from Olivia's special day as she turned 3 — and he melted lots of hearts in the process.
Zac is playing big brother in the snapshots
In his post, he shared the seriously cute moment he gave his youngest sibling a massive hug. "Happy bday lil sis," he captioned the two photos, which feature him holding Olivia and planting a brotherly smooch on top of her head as she returns the warm embrace.
The toddler shares her birthday with a special holiday
Olivia was born on December 25, 2019. We have to imagine having a Christmas birthday can be as exciting as it is overwhelming. Not only does Santa Claus drop off his gifts, but Olivia likely gets spoiled by all her friends and family as well. It probably makes coming home for the big day extra special for Zac.
Zac is the oldest of three
The actor likely got a lot of practice at being a good brother thanks to his 30-year-old sibling, Dylan Efron. Zac has even shown his brother the ropes at work, too, hiring him as the producer on his Netflix series Down to Earth, as well as featuring Dylan alongside him as the two traveled Nepal together for the second season of the show.
Fans love seeing this softer side to Zac
Hey may have absolutely terrified viewers during his turn playing notorious serial killer Ted Bundy, but fans can't get enough of Zac when he plays the role of big brother.
"Everyone wants you to be their baby daddy now, Z," one fan joked on Instagram. "OK, they wanted it before — but, you know."
Zac may be ready to tackle fatherhood a lot sooner than we think
After he wrapped filming for Firestarter, Zac revealed that playing a father on screen in the 2022 film had made him reconsider his future and the possibility of starting a family. Are we starting to see Zac's paternal side?
