What to Know
Losing your baby is something that is impossible to ever fully recover from. For the many moms who have experienced child loss, the grief is always there. I have never experienced pregnancy or child loss, but my heart is with everyone who has. TikTok chef Tini Younger made headlines in late 2025 when she announced that she had lost one of her twins due to a placental abruption. After making the announcement, she understandably went silent on social media to deal with her grief. But now she’s slowly making her return, and shared a new video updating her followers on the last few months.
She made her return to TikTok on February 2, 2026.
In the video, Younger explained that she’s slowly making her way back to social media and started by thanking and acknowledging all of the people who have supported her over the last few months.
She also explained that her pregnancy and delivery caused “complications” that she’s still dealing with. Younger said she “didn’t sleep for four days straight” after giving birth. Additionally, she developed postpartum preeclampsia.
“So it was terrible,” she said. She also mentioned she’s “still dealing with complications.”
Younger addressed accusations that she caused her daughter’s death.
“I saw a lot of people saying, ‘Oh, it’s because she was overworking herself by filming videos and doing this,’” Younger said of the placental abruption she experienced. “It was not my fault. Unfortunately, that’s why twins are high risk, especially mono-di twins.”
She explained that she filmed her videos five weeks in advance before giving birth.
Younger also gave some insight into how her family is memorializing her daughter. In addition to having her baby’s foot prints tattooed on her arm, they’ve also created “Arya’s Corner” in her bedroom. And it seems that the baby’s sister is the happiest about it.
“When we’re trying to rock her asleep, she’ll tilt her head and she’ll just stare at it,” she said. “We’ll show her a picture of her sister, and she’ll just smile at it too.”
She made clear boundaries about her future content.
Younger has no intention of sharing any details about her surviving daughter. She wouldn’t even use the little one’s name, saying she would refer to her as “Baby L” to maintain her privacy. Her followers will also never see the baby’s face in any videos. However, they may get a sneak peek of her back because she “doesn’t like to be put down.”
In fact, the little one makes an appearance in the last minute or two of the video for that exact reason. However, she covers her face with her hand the entire time.
Younger also made it clear that she will not be doing “mommy content,” instead sticking to her “cooking content.” However, she did say she might make some baby food videos in the future.
Fans are ready to support Tini Younger as she slowly makes her way back to social media.
