Last week, Steve Burns, who we all know from Blue's Clues, posted a video on TikTok checking in on his adult fans. Many people think that it was timed to the release of the documentary Quiet on Set, which exposed the sexual assault of Nickelodeon stars and other horrible things that happened behind the scenes. Either way, fans were grateful.

"Hey, I'm checking in. Tell me, what's going on?" Steve asked in the video. He then just sits and listens like he did on Blue's Clues, giving people the time and space to meditate on what they want to share with him. His eyes are so full of genuine care that it would be hard not to want to tell him all of your problems.
"It was good to hear from you," he says after almost a minute of listening. "You look great by the way."
"After the nickelodeon documentary Steve all I need is my blues clues to save whatever is left of this childhood I once had…. ," one person wrote.
"Please tell me that blues clues was always a safe place. after that documentary I can't have this place be sad too," another chimed in.
"Not me crying the instant he asked ," someone else confessed.
"STEVE I CANT DO THIS RN IM SURVIVING NOT THRIVING," another user shared.
"And I’m crying ," Jenni "JWOWW" Farley commented.
"They need you. The kids who are grown now who watched Nickelodeon.
Thanks for being here," someone else shared.
"Not me sitting laying bed at almost 3 a.m. in tears because Steve from blues clues shows up on my fyp asking what's going on? The one thing that we have left that is pure from our childhood," one commenter said.
"STEVE. My whole childhood television just got torched. We need blue to give us a clue!!!! " another comment read.
Back in 2021, Steve posted a video on social media checking in with all the kids turned adults who watched him on Blue's Clues. It came about a year into the pandemic and lockdown, and people were struggling and needed a familiar face. After sharing a surprisingly emotional update about his life, he ended the video by saying, "I guess I just wanted to say that after all these years, I never forgot you, EVER," and people all over the internet were in tears.
