20 of Serena Williams’ Sweetest Moments With Her Mini-Me Daughter

In 2017, Snapchat filters were all the rage, and Serena couldn’t resist trying out a matching one with her daughter. Baby Olympia doesn’t look too sure about this whole flower crown business, but it made for such a cute picture. And it was an early indicator that Serena’s little girl was always destined to be her mini-me.

One of the most fun parts of having a kid is dressing them in clothes that match you. So, of course, Serena wasted no time putting her little one in a pink hoodie so the two of them could be twins. We can’t handle this cuteness. Here, Olympia is still in that early baby stage where she’s checking out everything in the world around her. Look at how wide-eyed and curious she is.

Some people never land the cover of Vogue, but some people aren’t Olympia Ohanian. She starred on the cover of the famed fashion magazine when she was just an infant. In fact, she was the youngest-ever Vogue cover star, according to her mom’s caption.

“When I first saw this cover, it brought tears to my eyes. All Vogue covers are special, but to share this one with my beautiful daughter @olympiaohanian — also the youngest Vogue cover star — makes it a moment I will never forget,” Serena wrote.

Is there anything sweeter than a sleeping baby? Serena and Olympia were both zonked out in this picture — so maybe Serena’s hubby took it? “Caught,” Serena captioned the shot, along with some sleeping emojis. Definitely one of the best mom moments is snoozing while your little one sleeps on your chest. Pure bliss.

By the time Olympia was 1, she was already helping her famous mom on the set of her shoots. “@natashagrossmakeupartist found out @olympiaohanian is the best assistant,” Serena joked. We love watching mothers playing dress-up and putting on makeup with their kids. It’s such a sweet bonding moment for both of them.

Serena is proud to be a working mom, and she does her best to balance her athletic career and caring for her young daughter. It began with the elders braiding their children, then the children would watch and learn from them.
