Trying to figure out a name for your unborn child can be so difficult! Actress Rumer Willis recently shared that her daughter Louetta's name was actually the result of a text typo during a conversation with her partner Derek Richard Thomas.
She ended up with such a cute name for her baby though. Sometimes typos work out in your favor!

It felt like 'divine intervention'
"We were thinking about the name Loretta, and it was a typo. Her dad and I were texting, and he left the 'R' out of Loretta, and it was just Louetta," Willis told People.
"I was like, 'Oh, I love that!' I feel like it was one of those kind of divine intervention universe moments, and we figured it out actually quite early in my pregnancy," she said.
Still, Willis had doubts
Even though she loved the name, Willis had fears about their choice, as many expecting moms do.
"What was scary was, I love this name, but oh man, is it going to be her name? Is it the right name? What if she comes out and doesn't look like this?" she remembered thinking.
Even though she was worried, she chose to stick to the plan
"I fell in love with the name so much, so early on, that I was then worried that it wouldn't work," she shared.
Despite her concerns, she knew one thing was true. "I was going to name her Lou, whether she was a boy or a girl," she said.
Willis shared that one of the things that she and Thomas liked about Louetta was the "versatility" of it. "If she doesn't feel like a Louetta, she can go by Lou, she can go by Etta. She can go change it up throughout her life. Whatever she wants," she explained.
She also shared a cool story about Louetta's birth
Willis has been quite open talking about her journey into motherhood, both on social media and in interviews. During an interview on the Informed Pregnancy podcast, she shared that she had a home birth with Thomas, her mom Demi Moore, and sisters Scout and Tallulah by her side.
She revealed that when she began to push, her water was still intact. She asked her doula if they needed to pop it, and her doula had a surprising response.
"'She goes, 'Well, you can.' I'm like, 'What?' I was like, 'Are you serious?'" she said.
"She just said, 'Okay. On the next contraction, just push against it with your finger,' and I popped it. I think there's a photo of me and I just have this look of shock and surprise on my face." How cool!
