Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s Second Son’s Name Has Been Revealed

It's been a little over a month since Rihanna gave birth to her second child, a boy, with longtime boyfriend A$AP Rocky. The couple has yet to make a formal announcement about their newest bundle of joy, but luckily we don't have to wait to find out the little one's name, which is Riot.

Riot's full name is Riot Rose Mayers, and based on his birth certificate, which was obtained by The Blast, he was born on August 1, 2023. This is two days earlier than TMZ had initially reported.

Riot Rose joins big brother RZA Athelston, who shares his name with the famed Wu-Tang rapper.

Having an “R” name goes beyond the little ones; dad A$AP Rocky’s name is Rakim Athelston Mayers, and we all know that momma Rih's full name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty. It’s actually very cute that they all share the same first initial.

Riot shares a name with a song A$AP Rocky released earlier this year with Pharrell Williams. Obviously, we're not sure if this was intentional or not, but it would be cool if it turns out that there was a cryptic message there the whole time.

It took several months after RZA was born before the proud parents revealed any photos of him, and that will likely be the case with little Riot as well.

According to Yahoo! Entertainment, Rihanna’s reps said that “Rihanna, A$AP will spend the early days of parenthood out of the public eye and won’t make any immediate plans to debut the new baby,” so we’ll just have to wait patiently.

If Riot is half as cute as his big brother, we know that seeing those pictures will be worth however long it takes. Not only that, but maybe we’ll be treated to another topless maternity shoot like the one she revealed earlier this year from when she was pregnant with RZA. She did use the hashtag #tobecontinued in the post’s caption…
