If there's one thing that seems to ground celebrities and make them more relatable, it's when they become parents. Most mothers and fathers tend to go through similar struggles with their little ones, whether they're famous or not. No amount of money can make raising kids a perfect experience. That's why we love peeking in at the parenting roles of celebs to see them dealing with the same stuff we are. Like these celebrity fathers who posted photos of themselves on dad duty.
Let's get one thing clear here: A dad hanging out with his kids is parenting, not babysitting. They should help with the same amount of childcare as any other parent (work permitting, of course), and these A-list dads know that. They're all there for their little ones through hair brushing, bathtime, game nights, and more.
John Legend
John Legend is a super-involved dad, so it's no surprise that even when he has to work, he likes to bring his kids along to spend time with them. Both Luna and Miles stopped by the set of The Voice, and John got this cute snap of them cuddled up in his big red chair. "#TeamDaddy forever," he captioned it.
Channing Tatum
Channing doesn't care about gender roles when it comes to raising his daughter, Everly. He's played dress up and let his daughter paint his face with makeup. "This is what it looks like when a little tyrant fairy artist holds you down and makes your face look 'better,'" he joked about his makeover.
Ashton Kutcher
Technically this is a video and not a photo, but we had to include it considering all the controversy Ashton and his wife, Mila Kunis, caused over bathtime. The couple caught flak for saying they didn't bathe their children until you could physically see dirt on them. The duo then shared their bathtime routine for all the haters. They do actually wash their kids.
Dwayne Johnson
The Rock has three children, and he's a very hands-on father. Here, he's pictured detangling his daughter's hair, which he said is one of his biggest responsibilities. "I may be bald but I know a thing or two about hair. Mainly because I wish I had it," he joked in the photo's caption.
Dwayne Johnson (Again)
We just had to include the Rock again, because he really is just that amazing of a doting dad. Here he is snacking with his little ones while watching The Lion King. He joked, "Beautiful weekend breakfast with my favorite ladies watching A QUIET PLACE … Jk, we're watching THE GODFATHER. Actually LION KING for the 8,000th time, but next weekend we watch SCARFACE!"
Scott Disick
Scott's definitely had his struggles in life, but there's no denying that he's a loving father who cares a lot about his three children. He recently posted a series of photos of him teaching his kids to drive a boat. Such a fun father-kid activity, and a memory they'll all surely cherish well into adulthood.
Neil Patrick Harris
Sure, this may technically be an Instagram ad for American Girl, but we wouldn't at all be surprised if Neil also just played dress-up and dolls with his daughter Harper for fun on the regular. He's big into musical theater and acting, and that's got to lend itself well to playing pretend with his two kids. We love it.
Mario Lopez
Mario posted this cute picture of him and his daughter, Gia, on their way to a father-daughter dance. "#FavoriteNightOfTheYear," he hashtagged the picture. The dance must have been '70s-themed or something based on Gia's outfit. Although Mario did not commit to any kind of theme at all, he still looks great.
Prince William

By the time Prince Louis was born, carrying the baby to the car in his carseat was old hat to Prince William. But when Prince George was born, he was way more nervous. He even practiced for weeks with a doll to make sure he could correctly buckle his newborn into the car and keep him safe. So sweet.
Adam Levine
The Maroon 5 singer is super secure in his masculinity, which is what allows him to do fun things like dress up in an actual dress with his wife and daughters. "Girls just wanna have fun," he captioned the picture, which shows him in a matching pink tie-dye maxi dress. Must have borrowed it from Behati's closet.
Sterling K. Brown
Sterling plays a great father on TV in the show This Is Us, and he apparently can draw inspiration from his own life for that role. He has two sons, and he loves spending time with them, like during this family game night. It was a sponsored post, but we're sure this kind of thing happens all the time at his home.
Patrick Mahomes

The NFL player is a doting dad to his new daughter, Sterling, taking her pretty much everywhere with him (including on private jets, so we're jealous). We love this picture of them chilling in the pool together, because Sterling is clearly just as enamored with her father as he is with her. It's beyond adorable.
Russell Wilson
Ciara documented this cute moment between her husband, NFL player Russell Wilson, and their young daughter, Sienna, at her ballet class. It's always so great to see a dad get involved in the activities their kids are interested in, even if that means going to dance class. It makes the child feel so much more validated in their own passions.
Chris Hemsworth
Chris Hemsworth totally fits that parenting stereotype where time with dad is just a little bit more reckless than time with mom. Like, oh, you know, letting his 5-year-old son, Tristan, hit the skateboard half-pipe. "My little bloke is fearless #truelegend," the Thor star captioned this epic picture. Tristan certainly looks it.
Drake
There was a time when Drake barely acknowledged that he had a son, but once he started posting photos of Adonis and taking him along to events, Drake couldn't stop showing off his little one. We adore this photo of the rapper taking a snooze with his boy during a movie night. What a precious moment.
