Paris Hilton Confesses She Didn’t Change Her Son’s Diaper for the First Month

Motherhood can be gross and entrepreneur Paris Hilton wasn't quite as prepared for the grosser parts of motherhood. In the third episode of season two of her reality show Paris in Love, Hilton revealed that she still hadn't changed her son Phoenix's diapers, even though he was already a month old. Phoenix is now almost a year old, so Hilton has certainly gotten over her fear.

"Should I learn how to change his diaper?" Hilton asks her sister, mom of three Nicky Hilton.

"I said I wouldn't do this on my birthday, but I will for you," she confesses to the newborn. "Anything for Phoenix."

"OK, I'm scared," she said as she placed the little one on his changing table. Being scared isn't an entirely unrealistic thing to feel about changing a newborn diaper.

"You've never done it?" Nicky asks. Paris tells her "No."

Nicky, along with the nanny, guided Hilton on being able to locate both the "front [and] the back" of the diaper. They also gave her tips on how to ensure that the diaper isn't too tight.

During her time on screen, Nicky noted that Paris had never really talked about being a mother in the past. But she also mentioned the fact that if she's going to be a mom, her older sister was going to have to embrace all of it, not just the parts that are glamorous.

"Motherhood, you've got to get your hands a little bit dirty," she said during her confessional.
