Littlehands is looking all grown-up! Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi brought her 13-year-old daughter, Krishna, along as her date for the 2023 Blossom Ball in New York City. Fans were likely especially thrilled by this, since Padma usually keeps Krishna pretty private, aside from serving as an off-screen sous chef for her mom in her hilarious Instagram cooking videos.
The mother-daughter duo got glammed up for the big event
According to People, the two were strutting their stuff while appearing on the red carpet at the charity ball, which focuses on advocacy and fundraising efforts related to endometriosis, a condition that Padma was diagnosed with in 2006.

Krishna often makes an appearance in the Bravo star's cooking videos, although not always in the way her mom would like. Krishna, who Padma affectionately calls Littlehands when she talks about her in her the videos, is a big fan of making fun of her mother while she's trying to film.

In a clip from January, the teen can be seen putting her hand over her mother's chest while she's doing a cooking tutorial. Krishna's trying to block her mother, who's cooking in a bralette, from exposing too much of her breasts to her fans. Padma chastises her daughter, gently mocking her for making a big deal out of just a little cleavage.

The December 2022 clip shows that Littlehands doesn't only criticize her mother from off-camera. As the two perform a side-by-side dance routine, Krishna can be seen getting embarrassed by the way her mother gets a little too into the booty-shaking part of the song, making both of them laugh and cut the clip.

Almost all kids — especially teens — get embarrassed by their parents at one point or another (yes, even when their moms are as cool, funny, and talented as Padma), so it's no surprise that Krishna regularly gets on her mom's case about her more cringeworthy moments. However, based on the way the two were beaming at each other during their recent night out, it's obvious that Littlehands isn't always mocking her famous mom.
