No good deed goes unpunished. Nick Cannon recently learned the hard way what happens when you send a Mother's Day card to the wrong mama. The celebrity dad opened up about his parenting faux pas on a recent episode of The Daily Cannon, and while he didn't reveal which of his kids were involved in the mix-up, it doesn't sound like it went over too well.

Nick was trying to do something special for each of the moms of his kids

"I tried my best, I really did," Nick explained on the May 15 episode. The 42-year-old revealed that he wanted to do something a bit more heartfelt for the important women in his life, so he decided to forgo gifts and instead write something meaningful to each woman — only, not all of the cards reached their intended recipients, according to Billboard.
Unfortunately, some of the messages were read by the other women
Nick explained that he wanted to write the notes to show the ladies how he really feels about them. "And I was doing handwritten messages from the heart," he continued. "So then, as I'm writing the handwritten messages, I get the cards mixed up. And then so when one baby mama reads the card about how I feel about the other baby mama…"
Uh-oh!
The prolific papa joked about how this wouldn't have happened if he'd just hit up a Hallmark store for gifts
"See, if I would just have got some generic s–t that everybody else got, that wouldn't have happened," he laughed.
While he may have still gotten the recipients wrong, at least they wouldn't have known what Nick was saying about each of the six other women he's fathered a child with over the years.
We're sure Nick had a lot to say about the women in his life
He has 12 children, including tweenage twins Moroccan and Monroe</a>; his late son, Zen; Golden Saigon; Powerful Queen; Zion; Zillion; Legendary Love; Onyx; Rise; Zeppelin; and Halo. With all those kids, Nick was bound to have a lot to say about each woman's individual parenting as well as stuff about each of the children.

Nick didn't spill the beans about which of the moms were involved in the card snafu
Without any confirmation about which women got which cards, we're left to come up with our own theories. With options including Nick's ex-wife Mariah Carey, DJ Abby De La Rosa, Brittany Bell, Bre Tiesi, Alyssa Scott, and LaNisha Cole, it's anyone's guess.
Hopefully Nick didn't write anything that could actually get him into trouble and instead wrote something that they could all laugh about later.
