Meghan Markle is expecting her second child (a girl!) this summer, and we can't wait to see her and Harry being parents to Archie and their new little one. However, we might not get to see much. Since leaving the royal family, Meghan and Harry have been super private. They've only appeared on camera a few times and there have only been a handful of photos taken of them. Some of the most recent pictures show off Meghan's maternity wardrobe for baby No. 2, and it's no surprise that she is just as chic and fashionable this pregnancy as she was when carrying baby Archie.
The first time arouund, Meghan was pregnant for much of the fall, winter, and early spring. So most of her outfits were on the warmer side — lots of statement coats. But now she's pregnant in Southern California, and the weather is warming up, so we're seeing her in some more casual, flowy styles.
Here are 20 of her best maternity outfits ever, and here's hoping we get new pictures soon.
Bird's the Word

Shortly after Meghan and Harry announced their pregnancy, the duchess wore this stunning Oscar de la Renta gown. At the time, she was in Syndey for the Australian Geographic Society Awards, so it made sense for her to wear a nature-themed dress like this. It remains one of her best-known dresses from her royal days, since it was so unlike anything we'd seen the other royals in.
All Dressed Up

Always the hard worker, Meghan actually did a couple of royal tours while pregnant. After her Australia one, she visited Morocco with Harry where she tried this ensemble out. She kept things monochrome and modest with this gown, but looking closely we can see that the edges of her shawl are bedazzled. Such a fun detail.
Statement Coat

Not only did Meghan go with a bold red coat for this outing, but she paired it with an equally bold and bright purple dress. It's an outfit that reminds us a lot of the kinds of fashion risks Princess Diana would take. No surprises here, Meghan totally pulled this unique color combination off.
Off the Shoulder

When Meghan attended the 2018 Fashion Awards in London, she brought her style A-game. After all, the whole event is about clothes, so she couldn't just throw any old outfit on. The duchess stunned in this one-shouldered black gown by Givenchy, a fitting tribute to the design brand that Meghan was there to honor.
Glittering in Gold

Because the Duchess of Sussex so often goes with more neutral colors in her wardrobe, it's always fun when she mixes things up. We love this chic gold brocade dress that she paired with a sleek white coat. She put this outfit together for an event honoring Prince Charles, and if she upstaged him, she deserved it looking this good.
Peekaboo

With her baby belly really starting to pop, Meghan went out of her way to highlight it in this outfit. She buttoned her black coat just at the neck but let it drape open to show off her bump in her black dress. She looks so effortlessly beautiful leaving her London event, and she totally has that pregnancy glow.
Business Chic

After years of wearing buttoned-up shirts and business-y costumes on the set of Suits, Meghan knows her corporate clothing inside and out. That's why we love this dress so much. It's part red carpet glam (that leg slit!) and part business chic. She wore the outfit at the 2019 Endeavour Fund awards with Prince Harry.
Floral

But while the duchess can rock a suit with the best of them, she can also lean into her feminine side while dressing as well. This pretty floral dress was such a fun look for Meghan. We love the square neckline and puffed sleeves. It was designed by the Brock Collection and cost about $1,500.
This Green Set

Meghan's bump was on display in this green coat and dress set. She wore the look to a Commonwealth Day event just a couple of months before Archie's birthday. It's one of those great examples of how Meghan loves a monochrome moment, but she also likes fun pops of detail, like the appliqué on the coat lapels.
A Nod to Neutral

This look is so stylish, we could totally see someone like Kim Kardashian wearing it during her own pregnancy. The neutral color palette is very chic, and the outfit is sexy without showing any skin. The fabric goes all the way up to her neck, but it also contours her belly to show off her bump. A-plus all the way around.
Pretty Pleats

The duchess looks radiant here in her black pleated dress and bright white blazer. She paired the look with some gold statement earrings and threw her hair up in a ponytail. It's extremely hard to look glamorous in a ponytail, but Meghan is just that good. Prince Harry looks pretty great, too, in his tan suit.
Brilliant Blue

When visiting King Mohammed VI of Morocco, Meghan came dressed to dazzle. Her blue printed dress is flowy but still gives that hint of a bump while looking elegant for the formal gathering. Originally, the Carolina Herrera gown was designed to be more sheer, but Meghan had fabric put in to make it opaque.
Bold Pattern

When Meghan wore this black and white turtleneck dress, some people said it was too short for a royal. But Kate Middleton wore a very similar-length dress when she was pregnant with Prince George, and no one told her she should wear tights. There was such a double standard in the media between these two.
Monochrome Moment

When is Meghan not having a monochrome moment is the real question. She loves her ensembles to match, and they always look great on her. We especially love this all-white look with the turtleneck dress and matching coat. She looks like she could be a Bond girl or something. All eyes must have been on her at this gala.
Red Carpet Glam

OK, we need everyone to know that this was Meghan's plane outfit. She showed up at the Casablanca Airport in Morocco wearing this fabulous ensemble. (Meanwhile, we're always flying in leggings.) No wonder they rolled out the red carpet for her — she's stunning. The brocade shoulder cape is our favorite part of the look.
Bird Dress, Part 2
After making a splash in her black and white bird dress from Oscar de la Renta, she tried out another avian maternity outfit. This nature-themed dress was also designed by Oscar de la Renta — it was called the the Enchanted Forest silk chiffon dress. It proved that Meghan always looks good in De la Renta.
Shimmering

Thanks to Meghan's interview with Oprah, we now know that she wasn't having a good time at this event. She'd told Harry just that morning that she was struggling with her mental health, and then she had to pull it all together for a gala. The duchess didn't give off any signs of having a hard time, and she positively shone in this blue glitter dress. Just goes to show that we never know how someone is feeling on the inside.
Nap Dress Trend
Last year kicked off the trend of "nap dresses" — aka nightgowns. We were all home and lounging so much that comfy clothes just made sense. Meghan brought the trend into 2021 when she and Harry announced their second pregnancy with this picture. Her visible bump and obvious joy radiate through the picture, and she looks amazing.
The Oprah Dress

In her first big interview since exiting the royal family, Meghan donned a black Armani dress with some hidden symbolism. According to Town & Country, lotus flowers — as featured on the gown — symbolize things like enlightenment, rebirth, and self-regeneration. Meghan rebuit herself post #Megxit, and she may have wanted us all to see it in her dress.
Tropical
Meghan's close friend and photographer Misan Harriman shared this picture of the duchess for International Women's Day. Meghan is wearing a tropical print La Ligne dress in a sage color. But even in the black and white image, the gown still pops. We probably won't get as many photos of Meghan this pregnancy since she's no longer a working royal, but we'll treasure the pics we do get.
