Mariah Carey’s Daughter Has Inherited Her Impressive Pipes — Hear Their Christmas Duet

We already knew how much Mariah Carey and her daughter look alike, but now we know they sound alike, too! During the taping of Mariah's Christmas concert special, Monroe joined her mom onstage, and after hearing their duet, it's safe to say she's already taking after her mama in the talent department.

They performed 'Away in a Manger' together

Thanks to a livestream from the concert that was shared online by fans, we can see Mariah and 11-year-old Monroe onstage together, performing the Christmas classic "Away in a Manger."

Monroe got plenty of cheers when she started singing, and it's easy to see why — she sounds amazing!

Mariah shared photos of her and her daughter onstage

In an Instagram post she shared after their performance, Mariah included pictures of her and Monroe onstage together — both from their "Away in a Manger" performance and another that had Mariah in a Nutcracker-inspired outfit with her little girl by her side.

She frequently performs with her children

When Mariah got the opportunity to open for Santa Claus during the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade just a few weeks ago, both of her twins were right there along with her.

Of course, they couldn't miss out on such a big moment with their mom singing her holiday hit "All I Want for Christmas Is You."

Even Mariah's mom, Patricia, has performed with her

During the taping of Mariah's special in 2010, her mom, Patricia Carey, sang "Oh, Come All Ye Faithful" together.

Now 85, Patricia was once an opera singer. And after seeing that Monroe has pipes too, it looks like talent certainly does run in the family.

Mariah's Christmas special airs next week

The Merry Christmas to All concert will air on Tuesday, December 20, on CBS, so the world will get to see Monroe in all of her performance glory very soon. And if she continues to be like her mama, we wouldn't be surprised if she's just getting started.
