Lisa Kudrow Considering Adopting Matthew Perry’s Dog After Beloved Actor’s Death

It is still hard to believe that Friends actor Matthew Perry is gone. The beloved actor who played Chandler Bing on the hit show died tragically and unexpectedly over the weekend, and the world is still reeling. Many of his former co-stars have spoken out about his death, and a source close to his former Friends co-star Lisa Kudrow spoke to the Daily Mail about what Kudrow is feeling behind the scenes.

"This does not seem real or fair to her or any of the gang," Lisa's friend told the outlet.

The source added this was likely because "Matthew was finally at peace with himself and was having the best year of his life since his book launch almost exactly one year ago. He was enjoying life."

According to the source, Lisa has expressed interest in adopting Perry's doodle, Alfred. Matthew bought Alfred three years ago, and loved his pup so much he even set up an Instagram account for him.

"This is me and @alfreddoodleperry," Matthew wrote on Instagram. "Who's cuter? Don't answer that."

"They are thinking he must have taken something that did not mix with the warm water," the source said.

The source added that Matthew's death still does not feel real to Lisa or "any of the gang." They have all committed to attending Matthew's funeral when the time comes.

While it is being reported that Matthew drowned, an official cause of death is still pending. The Mail reported that sources told TMZ that investigators found prescription anti-depressants and anti-anxiety pills in Matthew's home, but no illegal drugs were found.
