Could the Chrisley family be ready to grow again? Lindsie Chrisley recently admitted that she and ex-husband Will Campbell have been discussing having another baby, despite their October 2021 divorce. Lindsie has a few good reasons for wanting (and not wanting) to expand her family this way, though, so it will be interesting to see what she ultimately decides.

The single mom opened up about her plans during a recent episode of her podcast
Lindsie told listeners of The Southern Tea that she's been debating giving her 10-year-old son, Jackson, a little brother or sister by teaming up with Jackson's father, Will Campbell, whom she was married to for nearly 10 years. "I've gone back and forth on wanting another child," she confessed on the May 17 episode.
Lindsie recognizes that bringing another child into the world would be complicated
She already shares joint custody with her ex, which means she'd likely have to split time with a new baby as well. That's something she said would be super hard for her, both in the beginning and as time goes on.
"I don't want to put another child through another situation. I already have one going between homes," she explained. "Will and I have always said that we would be the type of crazy people who would do something like that. But at the same time, do I think it's realistic? No."
Plus, Lindsie and Will also need to consider their own romantic futures
The Chrisley Knows Best alum has been very blunt about how neither she nor Will has any hopes for a reconciliation, which means they both need to consider what their future partners may think of the unconventional arrangement.
"At one point, maybe it would have been yes, but me dating, him dating, how do you really explain that to two people who might be in love with you? Like, 'Oh, by the way, I'm just gonna have another child with my ex-husband,'" she said.
They'd love the chance to give Jackson a sibling
While there are some pros (including promoting their tween to the role of big brother), it seems like Lindsie is coming up with mostly cons the more she thinks about the arrangement. "I thought it would be a cool thing for Jackson to have a biologically same sibling, but it didn't end up working that way," she continued.

Lindsie and Will would hardly be the first couple to try something like this
When it comes to growing your family, not everyone walks the same path. In fact, Lindsie wouldn't be the first person to have another baby with an ex. While Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson were technically still together when they decided to have a second, they ended up splitting up shortly after their surrogate conceived and are now raising their son, Tatum, as platonic exes.
Whatever she and Will decide to do, we think Jackson is lucky to have two parents working so hard to make good choices for him.
