In September, Kourtney took to Instagram to share a scary update: She had to undergo emergency fetal surgery.
"As someone who has had three really easy pregnancies in the past, I wasn’t prepared for the fear of rushing into urgent fetal surgery. I don’t think anyone who hasn’t been through a similar situation can begin to understand that feeling of fear," she wrote on Instagram.
Shortly after Kourtney's pregnancy announcement, a source told People that Kourtney's three kids — Mason, Penelope, and Reign, who she shares with ex Scott Disick — are "excited" about welcoming a new sibling. "Kourtney can’t wait to be a mom again," the source said.
Kourtney revealed that she and Barker conceived "naturally" after undergoing multiple rounds of IVF to no success. In an interview with Vogue, she shared that she "felt really pressured and pushed into doing IVF. It went against my intuition, and I didn’t feel fully prepared for the mental or physical toll it takes."
She paused treatment in 2022 to focus on her lavish Italian wedding with Barker.
Congrats to the couple!
