Kelly Osbourne is no stranger to making controversial comments. But her latest comments about the drug Ozempic and its use as a weight loss drug for people who have no other health problems have people coming at her for being "out of touch and ignorant."

She has made it clear she's a big fan of the drug
Speaking with E! News, Osbourne said that she finds the drug "amazing" and is hitting back at critics of how it's being used. "There are a million ways to lose weight — why not do it through something that's isn't as boring as working out?" she said.
She thinks the critics are just jealous
"People hate on it because they want to do it," she continued. "And the people who hate on it the most are the people who are secretly doing it, or pissed off that they can't afford it. Unfortunately, right now it's something that is very expensive, but it eventually won't be because it actually works."
People are furious with her comments, and are firing back
Ozempic is a drug currently being prescribed for people with heart disease and diabetes, and its weight loss use is creating access issues.
"Actually i think it’s mostly the diabetic people who can’t access their medication because everyone else is using it as get skinny quick fix but ok," one person tweeted.
"She’s so out of touch and ignorant it’s beyond comical atp it’s just embarrassing," another person said.
"Yes Kelly, that's why people are complaining, because we're jealous poors. Not at all because the weight loss craze has caused medical shortages for diabetics or anything like that," someone said in a Reddit forum.
Her own mother has spoken about how dangerous the drug is
In recent months, Kelly's mother Sharon Osbourne has spoken out about the dangers of taking Ozempic for weight loss. Last year, Osbourne admitted that she took the drug for weight loss, subsequently losing too much weight, and is now unable to gain it back.
"Be careful what you wish for," she said.
