It's kind of a funny story

"I did crack up a few months ago [when] I was teaching her some things," Kathy said. "I forgot to put the diaper on top of the private part and [Phoenix] started peeing and it went all in her face. She’s like, ‘Oh, why didn’t you warn me about that?’ I’m like, ‘OK, this is what we do.’ So, she’s learning little by little by little."

Paris is trying her best as a mom

Paris has come under fire for seemingly not changing Phoenix's diaper until after he was a month old, which was seen in season two of Paris in Love. People slammed her for not being a present parent, but she quickly defended herself, saying she was having "a bit of fun."

"As you can see, I changed his diaper the night I brought him home," she said in a tweet. "When it comes to being a mom, I’m fully involved and loving every moment of it."

Kathy quickly defended her daughter

Kathy defended her daughter's hesitation, sharing a story about her own early days of being a mom to baby Paris.

"[When] I had Paris, my mother came and helped for three weeks," she shared, adding that she would "never forget" having to put Paris in a car seat for the first time. "I felt like I was going to break her. I just happened to be younger."

Fans have even come for Kathy about holding Phoenix

Kathy said that fans have even given her a hard time about the way she is with her grandson.

"Somebody made a comment that, ‘Oh, the way we were holding the baby [was wrong],’" she revealed. "I’m used to a big baby," she said, sharing that all of her kids were big babies. She said that granddaughter London is a bigger baby, but Phoenix "was smaller," and it was hard for her to hold him.
