Former Prince Andrew reportedly has ”spies” within the Royal Palace, much to Kate Middleton’s concern. While King Charles fears a return of his ”arrogant” brother to public life, as Andrew has reportedly expressed a desire to find a new partner. And the same wish was reportedly expressed by his ex-wife Sarah.
This is what well-informed sources told Closer magazine, emphasizing that princesses Eugenie and Beatrice, Andrew’s daughters, are rallying around their father, who was forced to leave the residence where he had lived for 22 years.
“Andrew relies heavily on Beatrice and Eugenie to stay informed and involved” in royal life and ”the perception is that he uses them as ‘eyes and ears’ and, whether they are intentional spies or not, this is creating distrust,” the source states.
The result is that Kate, known for her calm public demeanor, is actually ”furious” behind palace doors. Without wanting to intervene with Beatrice and Eugenie, Kate does not want Andrew ”whispering in the background during royal decisions,” Closer writes.
“Make no mistake: Kate is a real force. She is kind and thoughtful, but she can also be ruthless. She is a true queen in the making,” explains the source quoted by the magazine.
“Kate’s anger goes beyond a matter of principle. She has worked hard to rebuild trust in the monarchy after years of scandals, and seeing Andrew ‘re-enter’ is like a slap in the face,” the source continues. According to Kate, in fact, not much has changed for the former prince after the Epstein scandal, as he shows ”the same sense of superiority.” King Charles, among others, is also reportedly ”concerned” by his brother’s and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson’s intentions to return to public life.
Kate “is deeply protective of William and their children, and she hates that this drama still hangs over the family as they try to build their future. William is patient, but this has tested him: Andrew was expected to quietly withdraw, and that hasn’t happened,” the Closer source continues.
King Charles fears ”suffering further humiliations in the coming months” because, as a royal family source said, former Prince Andrew ”is talking about how he would like to start dating someone again.” So ”the royals are worried about what he might get up to once he starts behaving completely according to his own rules again. Instead of hiding and accepting the consequences as they hoped, the arrogance that brought him here is increasing.”
As for Sarah, the source quoted by Closer on condition of anonymity claims that according to the former Duchess: “There’s no reason why she can’t put herself back out there in the world and find a rich man who will make the rest of her days much easier. She has always had a certain charm that attracts powerful and wealthy men and, according to her, she hasn’t lost it.”
