As far as being a busy mom goes, we’re willing to bet that the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, totally gets it. Not only is she a working royal, but she’s also a mom of three … so how does she manage to stay in such good shape? According to something she let slip during a recent appearance, Kate has a secret for staying fit that she’s now sharing with the rest of the world.
Kate chatted about mom life during a recent appearance
According to the Express, Kate started talking about the ways she likes to stay fit while visiting with a wheelchair rugby team this week, and she shared a pretty unique thing she does, even if it’s first thing in the morning: jumping on the trampoline with her kids.
"Running around" after George, Charlotte, and Louis is her main form of exercise
“It’s running around after the children – I do it all, whenever I can squeeze in exercise I do, even jumping on the trampoline with my children before school,” she said at the event.
Considering the fact that her kids ages range from 4 to 9, we’re guessing they keep her pretty busy!
The kids are super busy these days
“They all love sport, and Louis is mad about rugby. They are at an age where they just love running around,” Kate reportedly said.
From everything we’ve seen of the children who Kate shares with Prince William, they’ve always been super active and love the outdoors, which works out well since their parents seem to share that interest.
Prince Louis is getting quite good at one sport in particular

The team captain Kate spoke with, Tom Coyd, said that the princess told him Louis is participating in “tag rugby” at school.
“She was saying that it is quite basic at the minute, that he is just getting to grips with the passing and the running around. But when you are 4 and a half you just want to get the ball and run in any direction,” he said.
That sounds about right!
Finding time for workouts as a parent is a challenge
Sometimes it involves getting up super early or staying up past your kids’ bedtime to fit it all in … or sometimes, like Kate, it’s just about being active right alongside your kids.
Not a bad strategy — and probably a lot more fun that way, too.
