Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner’s Divorce Filing Reveals New Details About Their Second Child

Over Labor Day weekend, hearts broke when Joe Jonas filed for divorce from his wife of four years, actress Sophie Turner. What started out as a rumor was quickly confirmed to be true, and because of the divorce filing, we may now have a clue as to their second daughter's name.

We don't know much, but here's what we do know

Even though their second daughter was born a year ago, the soon-to-be exes have kept details about her under lock and key.

However, the court document, obtained by Page Six, lists the little one's initials as D.J. Even though there's no additional details, we now know her name starts with the letter D. Her big sister, Willa, is listed as W.J.

Joe has laid out a custody plan as well

In the documents, Joe asked for "shared parental responsibility," mentioning that the girls have primarily been in his custody as of late.

He also requested that a "parenting schedule" and a "timesharing plan" be established to help them care for their children.

Joe is trying to paint himself as a selfless father

When the story broke, TMZ reported that both girls were with Joe "pretty much all the time" while he toured with the Jonas Brothers.

"He never wanted to break up his family, but he had to take what he felt was the best course of action for his girls," an insider told Page Six about the couple's impending divorce. "An unhappy home isn’t a home, and the truth is that he and Sophie were going through it this year."

There's a reason why they've been secretive about their kids

In a 2021 Instagram story, Sophie explained that they had a valid reason for choosing not to share details about their children, reminding her followers that Willa "did not ask for this life."

That doesn't mean she didn't give the public glimpses into her life as a mom. "I simply cannot leave the house without a snack for [my daughter] because then my life would be made a living hell," she told British Vogue last year.
