When it comes to being a stepfather, actor Ben Affleck is winning all the awards. Jennifer Lopez gushed over her husband's newest role during an appearance on the Today show, including revealing how her two teens really feel about having Ben around. It sounds like the Lopez-Affleck crew is one big happy family!

Jennifer was on the show to promote her new movie, but couldn't help but talk about her hubby
The Marry Me star has two children — 15-year-old twins Max and Emme, whom she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony — and they apparently adore their new stepdad.
"He's fantastic. He really steps up to the challenge of what that is and what that means," Jennifer said about Ben. "And they love him. They love him. And they appreciate him, and so do I."
He's had plenty of practice
Jennifer credits Ben's ability to help parent her kids with all the dad time he's gotten in with his own children. (He shares daughters Violet and Seraphina and son Samuel with ex Jennifer Garner.)
"Well, he's a wonderful, wonderful father. And a father figure to [Max and Emme] as well, because he has his own three beautiful children, and then there's us," she continued.
Max and Emme aren't the only ones who are happy that Ben's joined the family
Ben hasn't just won over Jennifer's kids — he's also charmed Jennifer's mother. Guadalupe Rodríguez briefly joined her daughter during Wednesday's interview, confessing how she'd always hoped that Bennifer would get a second chance at love.
"I knew that you would always get back together because I prayed for 20 years," she said.
Jennifer is likely happy to have an extra set of hands around now that her kids are teens
It's a good thing everyone's feeling the love because Jennifer said it hasn't exactly been easy at home with her teens lately. "They're becoming adults. They are challenging everything in life. They're looking at everything," she said, adding that it will be a good thing in the long run.
"I think they're going to change the world, to be quite honest — oh, and make it so much better than what we did," she added.

Even with their one-year wedding anniversary just two months away, it's clear that the honeymoon still isn't over for Ben and Jennifer. Knowing everything it took to get them from their initial breakup back in 2004 all the way to today, where their blended families are living in harmony, it makes the sweet way Jen gushes over her husband that much more charming.
