Jennifer Garner Wouldn’t Switch Bodies With Her Kids, Wants to Stay in Her ‘Old Lady Body’

Jennifer Garner is perfectly content staying in her own body, thank you very much. In an interview with People to promote her new movie, Family Switch on Netflix, Garner shared that she has no interest in switching bodies with her teenage kids if the opportunity arises. In Family Switch, parents, played by Garner and Ed Helms, switch bodies with their teenagers.

She's good where she is, and her reasons are valid

"You know what? I think my kids work so hard, and they have so much pressure on them that I could never even have imagined as a teenager myself," Garner explained. "I’ll stay right here in my old lady body, thank you very much."

On the other hand, there are some kids she may consider switching with

In the interview, she did share that she would consider switching bodies with co-star Ed Helms' kids instead of her own.

"I want to be that little one who has a crazy look in her eyes running around in a diaper. Break out the paint and the glitter and go ham on the house."

Ed Helms' kids sound like a lot of fun

Helms doesn't share the names of his wife or kids, but he knew exactly who Garner was talking about.

"Yeah, my kids are ridiculously cute and insane," he said. "The first thing I would do is eat a ton of junk food because that’s what they can do. They’re these little furnaces. You can just put anything in there, and it churns up. So I would eat cookies, ice cream, cake, cupcakes — all of it. Pizza all day long."

The co-stars bonded while filming the movie

While making Family Switch, Garner explained that she and her co-stars wanted to continue spending time together, even when the cameras were off.

"We didn’t disperse when somebody said, ‘Cut,’" she explained. "We all stayed and hung out and played with the babies."
