Actor Jamie Foxx and girlfriend Alyce Huckstepp are expecting their first child together, according to reports confirmed by People on May 12. The baby will be the third child for the 58-year-old Academy Award winner, PEOPLE reports.
Foxx already has two daughters from previous relationships.
His eldest daughter, Corinne, 32, is from his relationship with Connie Kline, while his younger daughter, Anelise, 17, is from his relationship with Kristin Grannis.
The couple’s relationship was first confirmed in August 2023 when they were spotted dining together in Malibu, PEOPLE noted. They briefly separated in January 2025 but have been seen together frequently since reconciling, including at dinner outings in Los Angeles and during a boat tour in Miami in October.
The pregnancy news comes during a busy period for Foxx professionally. Earlier this year, he released Back in Action with Cameron Diaz and a Netflix comedy special titled Jamie Foxx: What Had Happened Was… The special addressed his 2023 medical emergency, which involved a brain bleed that led to a stroke.
At the 2025 BET Awards, where he received the Ultimate Icon Honor, Foxx credited his daughters for saving his life during his recovery.
The actor has spoken previously about his appreciation for fatherhood.
In an interview, he said his favorite part of being a parent is hearing his children call him “dad” and “watching them light up when you come into a room.”
A source close to Foxx told People that the actor thrives on staying active.
“Jamie is super busy, just the way he likes it,” the source said. “He has so much going on, he barely has time to stop and think about how blessed he is.”
