Shortly after announcing that she had given birth to her fourth child, actress Hilary Duff shared the sweetest snap of her and her baby girl. Based on the picture, Hilary is absolutely soaking up the deliciousness of having a newborn in her house. Her new baby, Townes Meadow Bair, joins big sisters Mae and Banks, whom Duff shares with husband Matthew Koma, and big brother Luca, whom she shares with ex-husband Mike Comrie.

Hilary shared a sweet snap of her cuddling with Townes in her Instagram Story shortly after posting her birth announcement. In the picture, Hilary has Townes, who is sporting the cutest mermaid onesie, cradled against her chest.
"Townsie gahhh," she wrote on the picture.
Townes' mermaid outfit is fitting, given the fact that Hilary delivered her via water birth, as revealed in her Instagram post.
"Now we know why she made us wait so long… She was perfecting those Cheeks!" Hilary wrote. "I have been dreaming of holding you in my arms for months and the past 5 days of getting to know you, stare at you and smell you has been pure moments of magic. We all love you like you’ve been here all along beauty."
In mid-April, Hilary shared a series of pictures on Instagram, including one of her with acupuncture needles sticking out of her face. "Pretty slow week around here. And gently trying to give baby the eviction notice," she captioned the post.
She also shared another group of pictures, writing, "Some random pics of the 5 of us before that changes foreverrrrr."
A few weeks before she gave birth, Hilary wrote a message on her Instagram Story addressing the length of her pregnancy.
"Hi friends — this is meant in the kindest tone (I promise)… I am no longer responding to texts or dm's about 'when baby is coming,'" she began. "I know everyone is checking in with love and humor, however, trust me… nobody wants it more than me!!!!! Babies come when they are ready. I am trying my best to be patient! The days are long and uncomfortable. Promise I will let you know. ❤️."
Hilary is well aware of the chaos that comes with having so many little ones in the house. That's why she posted a sweet tribute to her husband, giving him credit for the way he supports her and their family.
"4 kids is a truly wild choice. And while you rage the farmers market with the kids after 4 nights of shows and late nights so I can get some sleep and not hear mom mom mama mommy mooooom just know this only works because of you ♥️. Also on a separate note… Why can I sleep during the day this late in pregnancy and not at night ," she wrote.
