Demi Moore and Bruce Willis continue to be post-divorce and co-parenting goals. Demi recently shared a video from her ex-husband's 68th birthday celebrations, in which the Die Hard star was surrounded by his family. She also posted a loving tribute to Bruce, who is currently facing a heartbreaking medical diagnosis.
Bruce's family gathered to sing 'Happy Birthday' to him
Fans got to see Bruce on camera for the first time since his family announced his frontotemporal dementia diagnosis in February. In the short clip, everyone gathered around to belt out the words of the birthday tune. For his part, Bruce sang and danced along and seemed to be in generally good spirits while soaking up the love.
Demi posted the clip on Twitter
After the family finishes their song, Demi can be spotted holding up the phone to get as many people into the shot as possible while enthusiastically cheering.
"Happy birthday, BW," she captioned her tweet. "So glad we could celebrate you today. Love you and love our family. Thank you to everyone for the love and warm wishes — we all feel them."
Fans added their own birthday wishes to the chorus
People could not get over how great Bruce looked in the clip, and took an extra moment to send along their own well wishes.
"Made me smile," one person tweeted. "For all the celebrity madness out there, it's nice to just see a normal birthday celebration for a regular guy, who just happens to be pretty good at pretending to be action heroes. Happy 68th birthday, Bruce Willis."
This isn't the first time Demi celebrated her ex
Even before the news of Bruce's diagnosis, Demi has remained close with her ex. In fact, at the start of the COVID-19 crisis, Bruce moved in with Demi so that the family could hunker down together to ride out the lockdown. Bruce's current wife, Emma Heming, and the pair's two daughter had to stay back in Los Angeles at the time, as Emma dealt with a medical emergency with one of their girls, according to USA Today.
The family has been grateful for all the love
This has obviously not been an easy time for the group, who announced Bruce's diagnosis with a series of candid social media posts about the Hollywood legend. It's great to see Bruce doing so well, even as he faces the unknown with his health. Hopefully he continues to have a huge cheering section behind him.
