Another celebrity baby is coming in 2024! Singer Ashanti is pregnant with her first child, multiple sources confirmed to Us Weekly. She and rapper Nelly rekindled their romance earlier this year, and now they're expecting a baby together! There's something to be said for a second chance at love.

This is Ashanti's first child
"Nelly and Ashanti are welcoming their first baby together," a source told Us Weekly. While this is Ashanti's first child, Nelly has two adult children from a previous relationship.
The couple sparked rumors this past weekend
During a performance this weekend at Nelly's Black & White Ball in St. Louis, Ashanti put her hand on her stomach, and Nelly followed suit, which prompted the rumors to begin flying.
In a fan video that was shared by TMZ, right after Nelly touched Ashanti's stomach, he realized what he did and the couple both started to laugh.
A reunion years in the making
The pair dated from 2003 to 2014 before calling it quits, seemingly for good. Speculation about their reunion started in April before Nelly confirmed the news in September.
"Yeah, we cool again," he said during an interview with Philo TV’s Boss Moves with Rasheeda. He explained that the romance "surprised both of us though. It wasn’t anything that I don’t think was planned."
Did Nelly recently drop hints about a baby?
Just last month, Ashanti bought Nelly his dream car for his birthday. He shared the car in an Instagram post.
"Get her pregnant @nelly TONIGHT!!" a follower commented, to which the rapper replied, "I’m on it."
