Parents everywhere will relate to Amy Schumer's latest Instagram post. The comedian and mom shared a snapshot showing how she took a box that once contained lingerie from Kim Kardashian's Skims brand and turned it into a toy box for her son, Gene. When it comes to keeping organized at home, everything is fair game for parents!
Amy showed off her new toy storage situation to her followers

Over the weekend, Amy posted a photo tagging the Skims brand, thanking them for her recent delivery. "Thank you, Skims, for the comfy bras and a new place for toy trucks," she quipped in her caption, which featured the chocolate brown gift box embossed with Kim's brand logo. A jumble of Gene's colorful toys can be seen inside.
The comedian is good friends with Kim
Amy's post wasn't meant as a dig at Kim — the two are actually quite close. It was Amy who Kim called in for help when she was working on writing her Saturday Night Live monologue ahead of her October 2021 hosting gig. Amy even appeared in the first season of The Kardashians to talk the mother of four through her pre-show jitters.
We're willing to bet Gene loves his new storage box
Amy and husband Chris Fischer welcomed their little boy in May 2019. We know toddlers, and given Gene's age, we're going to assume he was delighted by the special new place to keep his toy cars and trucks — especially considering how many compartments the Skims box seems to have.
Amy is actually out on tour right now
Ahead of her travels, Amy talked to The New Yorker about the upcoming 60-show world tour and how hard it would be on both her and her family for her to be away for so long. "I always want to cancel everything, and I always try," she said. "The thing that weighs on me is being away."
Amy later reflected on how Gene still falls asleep on her chest sometimes. "There are a limited number of nights where they'll want to do this," she fretted.
Amy is obviously a doting mom
It's clear that she's struggling to find that work-life balance given the requirements of her job. "I'm going to miss 65 nights of putting him to bed. I mean, what is that worth?" she asked. "Am I crazy for doing this? But then it's like, I have the opportunity to go and make all this money."
Later in the interview, she shared that she would be making close to $10 million for the tour. That's a lot of toy trucks (and Skims boxes to store them in)! We're sure that Gene will forgive her while she works to provide so much for their family.
