Allyson Felix announced that she is expecting her second baby. The Olympian beamed with joy as she stood alongside her baby in a picture posted to Instagram on Wednesday. In an adorable photo, Felix is seen standing next to her husband as her daughter holds up a sign that reads, “Baby brother coming April 2024.” In the series of photos, the couple’s daughter, Camryn, is seen kissing Felix’s belly.

“Thanksgiving blessings! Adding a little more love to our family,” the 38-year-old wrote in the caption of the Instagram post.
Felix has been vocal about the importance of Black maternal health in the past. She has also shared details about her own pregnancy and having an emergency C-section.
The former Olympian was diagnosed with preeclampsia at 32 weeks, Mom.com previously reported. After her teammate Tori Bowie died from childbirth complications in May, Felix commented on their other teammate Tianna Madison’s Instagram post about Black maternal health.
“We continue to face a maternity mortality crisis in this country,” Felix wrote. “Black women are at risk. It’s why I won’t stop doing this work. We can’t sit by and continue to watch our loved ones die when many of these complications are preventable. Standing with you T.”
Felix has remained persistent about speaking up about women’s rights and Black maternal health. In 2021, Felix shared a post showing off her C-section scar while wearing her Olympic medals.

“I never would have thought that using my voice would have led to Nike changing their maternity policy for athletes and I definitely never would have thought it would lead to creating @bysaysh,” Felix wrote in the post caption. “Keep going and keep speaking up, even if your voice shakes. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your support in my journey on the track and now with my company. The outpouring of love has been overwhelming. I’m so full of gratitude.”
We are wishing Felix and her family all the best on this new journey!
