Adele knows that being a mom can get messy. In a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the singer revealed that she stained her kitchen with turmeric while making kebabs for her 11-year-old son Angelo's class. She has never been more relatable.

According to the interview, Adele told the audience at one of her Las Vegas shows about her plans to make chicken kebabs for Angelo's class.
"I did it the next day," she explained. "It went great. I spilled the turmeric everywhere, so it stained my whole kitchen. I made 60 of them."
It may come as a surprise, but Adele loves being able to participate in things at Angelo's school. "I’m thriving a bit," she admitted.
"Now there are so many things his school does the most, with community vibes, which is fantastic. The kids don’t care. The kids don’t give a flying f–k who I am. And I get, not insecure, but I get nervous around loads of adults and strangers that I don’t know. And so making food for school events, it’s my dream," she revealed.
She shared that "having a kid at school, I’ve got great mum friends," which has made living in Los Angeles more enjoyable for her. "I didn’t think I’d ever have a real friend group here. I don’t want a bunch of celebrities being my friends — well, only [celebrities]," she said.
A few months ago, a fan shared a video of Adele freaking out because the doctor who delivered her son was in the audience of her show.
"I hadn’t seen him, my doctor, since my son was 4 days old. It was the most surreal experience of my life," she explained.
"As all my friends are trying for babies, I realized how it’s actually not as easy as everyone thinks to have a baby. I’d been thinking about it so much recently, I got his number the next day and I texted him. I never really understood how lucky you can be to have a baby. And I didn’t understand the magnitude of him not only bringing my child safely into the world, but keeping me safe in it," she said, adding that she "cried for a week" after seeing him at the show.
