The Momcozy Mobile Style Breast Pump Is a Game-Changer For Pumping Moms

A few weeks ago, I welcomed my first daughter into the world. Luckily, breastfeeding has come easily to us, so I started using a breast pump after two weeks. Starting to pump really helped me and my husband, since it allowed us to get more uninterrupted sleep. Now that I’ve gotten used to pumping with the hospital grade double electric breast pump, I decided to test out a wearable breast pump, the Momcozy Mobile Style™.

Momcozy is known for their fantastic wearable breast pumps, and the Mobile Style™ is their latest innovative product. After over 17,500 hours of relentless research and development, Momcozy created the Mobile Style™ breast pump to fit the needs of busy on-the-go moms. One of the reasons the Mobile Style™ pump stood out to me is because it doesn’t require you to sacrifice functionality for portability. Many wearable breast pumps are comfortable and convenient, but they don’t have the same efficiency as hospital-grade pumps. That’s not the case for the Momcozy Mobile Style™! After testing it out, I can say with certainty that it performs just as well as my plug-in double electric pump. Here’s my full review:

Ease of Use

Once I sterilized all the breast pump parts, I found it was very easy to put together. The pump comes with different size flange options and a measurement guide, so I was able to find the right size for me and insert it into the pump. Putting on the pump was simpler than other pumps I tried — I just centered the flange on my nipple and pulled my bra over the pumps.

Comfort

I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the breast pump was — it was even more comfortable than my hospital-grade pump. The Momcozy DoubleFit™ Flange offers a seamless fit, which means it hugs your body. I often notice suction issues with other pumps (they’ll lose suction as the bottles fill up or if I move/twist in a specific way), but because the Mobile Style™ is held in place by my bra, there are no issues with suction whatsoever.

Suction

One complaint a lot of people have about wearable breast pumps is that they don’t express as much milk as traditional pumps. The Mobile Style™ pump features a 2nd gen motor (with a powerful suction of 295 mmHg), which offers three modes and nine suction settings. I expected that I’d end up with slightly less milk than usual, but I was shocked to find that I actually expressed more milk than my typical amount. In fact, the suction rhythm has also been fine tuned to increase milk supply.

Convenience

Like other wearable breast pumps, the Mobile Style™ makes pumping a simpler experience, since you’re not stuck in place while you pump. Normally I pump from my glider, but with the Mobile Style™ I was able to move around my house and even wash some dishes. Because it comes with a carrying case, I can easily put the pumps in my diaper bag and take them with me wherever I go. With the 2.5-hour battery life, I don’t have to worry about my pumps losing power when I need them.

As a new mom, I’m trying to learn how to balance my time — between feeding, changing, and bonding with my daughter, sleeping, eating, and maintaining some semblance of a social life, it’s hard to find time to pump. With the Momcozy Mobile Style™, I don’t have to worry about setting aside time to pump; I can just fit it into my daily routine.
