A study conducted in the UK by the Office of National Statistics in September 2011 found that kids born in January end up becoming doctors more than people born in any other month.

That same study also pointed to January kids having a higher chance of becoming debt collectors. But if parents have their hearts set on their baby growing up to become a real estate agent, well, January babies score low on the chances of that career down the line.

According to Time magazine, there are more January-born CEOs than CEOs born in other months. The article found that January-born kids are destined to be at the top of their field and headed for success. While this isn’t guaranteed, statistics show that the odds are on your side.
Babies born in January are more likely to be lefties
According to a 2014 study published in the journal Cortex, a survey taken of close to 13,000 adults who lived in Germany and Austria found that a large portion of the people reported to be left-handed were born in the winter months, including January. There were more men born in January who were left-hand dominant, and the theory as to why January indicates left-handedness has to do with the amount of light exposure in the womb. Neat, right?
Creativity is a strong suit for January babies
Scientists have been fascinated with how the birth month can shape a person before they’ve had a lot of life experience. According to a 2012 study that was published in the journal PLOS ONE, people born in January have a higher chance of being creative than others born in different months of the year. There are a lot of theories as to why this might be possible, including the amount of light that the baby receives in utero, the amount of vitamin D, or even just the increased risk of the pregnant person getting sick with the flu or something similar.
