Stephanie Chavez is a Child Development graduate from SJSU, a wife and mother to two children, Cali girl for life, and a foodie at heart. She's the author of the food blog Spanglish Spoon, where she shares her personal experiences with food and the recipes to go with them. What began as a curious fascination in the kitchen as a little girl watching her mom and tías cook has now become an obsession with experimenting with ingredients and putting her own twist on traditional Mexican cooking.
What was your favorite toy as a child?
My favorite toy that I can remember (and still have today) is a Feivel plush doll that I got for Easter when I was around 8 years old. I saw it at a store one day while shopping with my dad and I begged him for it. He didn't buy it for me that day. Instead, he surprised me later with it in my Easter basket. My daughter uses it now.
